CREDENTIALS

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist California #144888 and in Virginia #0717002132, as well as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor CA #19263 currently seeing patients/clients via tele-health in both California and Virginia.

I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and received my clinical training at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) as well as New Beginnings Counseling Center in Santa Barbara. In addition, I provided clinical hours and group therapy for women at Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) which included Middle College and Dual Enrollment students.

In addition to my private practice, I am a Clinical Case Manager for Intent Clinical serving in a coaching capacity via in-person concierge services to clients in Virginia. Prior, I served as the Life Skills Coordinator at New Beginnings Counseling Center coordinating therapeutic groups through community partners throughout Santa Barbara County. I also served as the lead facilitator for a support group in Santa Barbara County called LaunchWell, which is managed through YouthWell.org. This support group focuses on providing ways to assist parents in launching and connecting to their young adult as they transition into attending university and/or starting their careers.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Basic I & II (EMDR,) Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR,) am an ADHD-CCSP Certified Clinical Service Provider and a Member of the Usui Reiki System as a Reiki Master.

I am walking proof that "the way appears" and have forged my own healing journey through grief & loss, high conflict relationships, health related battles, career challenges and changes, intergenerational trauma, raising young adults and lived experiences in many parts of the country. This path was led by several skilled professionals and through this understanding and learning an inherent calling arose to assist others in their finding and navigating their own way. This lived experience and understanding brings my client closer in a connection that feels non-judgmental, safe and supportive.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in Business Administration and prior to receiving my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, had a lengthy career in executive management, operations, sales & marketing and startups. Working with people and finding their motivation has been front and center in my professional career.
