Assessments are offered and provided as a stand alone or in conjunction with psychotherapy. Some in-depth assessments are 75-90 minute sessions. These assessments include an informed consent, a brief assessment, interview and additional paperwork from individual or collateral from a caregiver/instructor.
ADHD Assessment training has been provided under supervision at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) as well as under private practice supervision. Certification as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider ADHD-CCSP has been completed. These testing credentials were obtained through training provided by the Institute of Certified ADHD Professionals, which is endorsed by CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) https://chadd.org/about/ In addition, clinician works side by side to refer and partner with psychiatrists to obtain and manage psychopharmacological resources as needed.
